what youre supposed to do is level up a caterpie to level 10 and get a butterfree and he learns confusion which you use to beat brock

I already got him to 13 and got metal claw. I thought steel wasn't effective vs ground/rock ???

when they remade silver and gold on the ds they brought back the following around thing but with any pokemon you want

that shit is legit

Brock is hard for a few reasons. Rock and Ground types take 50% damage form normal and fire type attacks so Charmander will have trouble taking them down. Also fire types take 50% more damage from ground type attacks. So you have to put together a team to beat Brock. The only pokemon available from the area are Pidgey, Weedle, Catapee, and Ratta. Their attacks are all normal types so they do 50% damage against Brock's pokemon. So it is hard.

Misty is easy since her water types take normal damage from normal type attacks. You are also given a wide variety of pokemon to capture after Mt. moon

brock is probably the hardest gym leader in the game

havent tried the browser on either system

Nope, my 360's still red-ringed until I have enough money to get somebody to reball it with leaded solder.

I looked at a brief review of the browser somewhere and they said the controls were kind of weird but it sounded like they'd never used a console browser before.  The A button would naturally be the left click obviously, just like the X button on the PS3.  I can't imagine it would be worse than the PS3 one if it's not in fact better.  Internet Explorer is a legitimate browser and I would think it should be a lot more usable than the no-name PS3 browser, that one just doesn't feel very optimized at all.  I think the PS3 one is supposed to be a very early version of Google's open-source Chromium browser which is also used for Eve Online's new(and fully functional) in-game browser and also in Steam.

I don't know, maybe all of the consoles have slow shitty browsers, I haven't used Opera on the Wii either.  I'm holding out hope for the 360 though because they've had such a long time to get it right and that's the console I would be using the most by far if it still worked, I never touch my PS3 unless I have guests and I don't have nor want a Wii.

I still have the first game I ever started on my red version going. It's misingnoed to fuck though.

Easy mode for me was always force speed.
I did pretty much every boss battle by running around like a manic gerbil, hitting enemies on the head.

Are the Force Unleashed games any good?
AFAIK, they are 3rd-person view only, and you don't have any weapons other than your light saber and the force.

if they made a new open source engine we could have billions of online maps.
And character creation beyond the 6 or so choices with 3 faces each. In a galaxy with thousands of intelligent species the character customization should be a little bit better. You should start off as a Padawan and begin training on Yavin 4. Then you become an apprentice to a Jedi Knight and go on missions. Eventually you become a Jedi Knight and get to explore the galaxy in your personal star fighter. From there you can either choose the path of a wandering Jedi Knight, or become a Sith lord, or seek the lonely unknown of Wild Space and make yourself one with the force and be accepted as Jedi Master.
And all of this can take place in an online universe.

The Story missions aren't that exciting, but once you get the Hardcore levels it becomes heaps of fun.
