I think this may just be the very first game that I will pay $80 for the week it comes out. Possibly even the limited edition, but I dun want to preorder until they show more footage.
Until i see what is in the pre-order exclusive I won't consider buying it.

In the era of digital downloads, pre-ordering makes little sense to me.
While the news about BF3 so far has been very interesting and promising, i'm still going to wait and see until later in the year before I decide whether I'm going to get it or not, mostly because it would require a rather substantial upgrade.

It seems that the BF3 Limited Edition content has been leaked already:
Apparently, it's a "Back to Karkand" expansion pack, that you'll get for no extra charge right from the start, as opposed to wait for about a month and pay.
It supposedly includes 4 maps, as well as weapons and vehicles from BF2, adapted to the Frostbite 2.0 engine physics and visuals.
