Best one ever was when I had my wife give me a "kiss" while loading up, AFTER THE LOAD"no pun intended" IT WAS ONE OF MY BEST GAMES EVER!!! I have upgraded to 2GB since then though...I'm thinking it was a bad decision on my part!
well what the hell, takes me only a minute or so to load the map but it takes forever to load the client data, anyone know of tricks to speed the process up? im running amd fx-55, nvidia 7800, 1 gig on a 768 kps dsl line...
it takes my computer 40-50sec to load a map, but i still go smoke a cig.

I swear that every server I've ever joined verifies my client data by printing out every megabyte of it in binary and manually checking every 0 and 1 for mistakes..."hey look it's a 2, let's start all over again"...it's the only way to explain the appallingly long wait. So...
*If there's something vaguely arousing in the server graphic, I sit back and have a good wank.
*If not, I try to figure out which area of which map they used for the screenshot in the graphic.
*Then I read the server message and laugh at every grammar/spelling error. (In forums it's OK but in the official server message? Come on...)
*After all that I've probably got a good 2-3 minutes left so I grab a snack, drink, guitar, cigarette, etc. and keep myself occupied.
