dead link .. but then again I don't honestly really care about kosovo. Clinton tried to convince us we needed to be there. Personally, I was never sold.

Is it really hard to wrap your mind around the fact that I don't care? I don't support nation building. Neither does my constitution. Our politicians don't seem to get that. .. and if you knew anything about me you'd know that I only support military responses to clear and immediate threats to our security. Kosovo was not.

Well, we both know it's not really about democracy, but trade interests are trade interests.  Occasionally, intervention is necessary to keep things running smoothly.  NATO had no interest in letting the conflicts of Bosnia spread to the rest of the region.

somebody, explain to me, how does it always happen so that "democracies" you install in those places you "fix" always produce governments, that aren't simply corrupt, but organ-fucking-trafficking and record-breaking-in-heroin-production corrupt?
