I don't think I ever had much more fun in this game than I did on that 2nd part you posted when I was Fus-Do-Rah'ing necromancers over the edge. I wish I had more opportunities to do stuff like that

So i broke my skyrim.
I installed some mods (that might be what caused it) and now the area around light sources is very pixelated.

I might post a screenshot of it later.

I guess reinstalling would be the best (any maybe even only) solution. Any know a way to do that whilst preserving a save file? I only need to keep one.

I figured out how to restore my save file, but that was maybe 1% of the issue and only 1min of work.
Would've been nice if i was able to fix the issue without having to reinstall. But fuck it, I'm already installing now.

i only downloaded a mod or two before the workshop came and they never gave me any trouble. They were just weapons so they shouldt cause these kind of problems.

Well, now that I've started to clean up my skyrim i want to do it right. But when i delete all local content on steam (i.e: uninstall) it leaves the directoty intact and the map in my documents (the one that has the saves in it) and all saves and mods etc etc.
Once I've uninstalled it with steam i can install again with the disc, which i did, but since the old directory is still there i get the same issues as before and still have my old save-files.

Now I haven't tried uninstalling it through the control panel but it doesn't show up. So i guess i have to install it again only to remove it. If this doesn't remove it completely should I just toss the directory and the folder in my documents in the bin?

Something I never knew... how do you get the higher level destruction spells? Like Adept/Master etc? Still can't figure it out.

Spell ad weapon loot is based on your skills in that area. Higher skills means higher skill books you can buy or find

Removed all folders and what not, uninstalled through the control panel.
Still fucked.

The thing is, something always seems to be left behind, because my save files (or part of them anayways) are still present and it starts installing on steam like 65%.
