they really need to make a pc patch to make the ui usable for us
The game's easy enough to dick around with that they could have, at least for the PC release. The animation for dual wielding is fun, but I mostly use a mace and healing if I do it at all (because even with blocking, I still need to heal up), rather than two weapons. But mostly I stick to a big hammer or a bow. Nothing like seeing a dragon's head smash into the ground as you pound on the top of its skull with the heavy hammer swings.
Normally I would stick with my shield all the time but given my low amount of healing potions which I usually just use quickly from the favorites list, I had no choice but to devote my hand to healing.
I feel incredibly naked and wrong not being able to block at all.
And yes, they do need to make a patch for the PC version specifically, the UI on its own isn't absolutely unusable or terrible, it's just very unresponsive, makes it feels like an older/shittier game to me for some reason, and there's still other things about the PC version which need fixing like the frequent crashing for some people(I only crash once a day and that's after several straight hours of playing), and like I mentioned before, maybe some performance optimizations too just for the hell of it.
I REALLY want them to fix the physics problems, where sometimes you'll open a door and then instantly everything on one or two sides of the room bounces across the room like it had been just building up energy to do it. I'm also tired of this: Every time while I'm talking to an inkeeper, it sounds like somebody is in the imaginary attic banging on pots and pans and slamming doors, it's like it's the innkeepers non-rhythmic theme song or something

I laughed when I saw that guy's mom in the first town you get to after escaping simply walk through her home's wall to complain to her son about dragons.
PC users do you guys notice all the finishing moves are well off? I just used one on a named dragon (save the spoiler) and i was hovering 5m beside him stabbing repeatedly
(Not mine, but I lol'd)
Was torn about where to post this, but...
Spoiler (highlight to read):
the dog won
purchased and DLing
Won't regret it.
I no longer know as to whether or not i should be impressed by these creations.unnamednewbie13 wrote:

Sure, it's impressive, and sure, it couldn't have been easy to do. But, fucking hell, who comes up with this?
Who, one day, goes: "do you know what would be cool? If I could somehow figure out a way to create the Skyrim theme on Minecraft. It may take me 200 hours to do and sure, no one is really going to give a fuck, but still, why not waste my life in front of this computer and create this musical 'masterpiece'."
That said, if he makes some money from it, or it gets him a job somewhere - congratulations.

They should be playing Skyrim obviously.
Everybody should be.
So by Shearpoint there's some floating bitch with some staff thing shooting fucking fireballs at me. She's tough as shit and I clearly don't have the ability to stop her. She also stops me from accessing a new dragon shout until I beat her. I beat the dragon that's there (pretty easy tbh), but I guess I should just stay away from the wall until I get to level 15-20 or so?
Oh I stumbled on that earlier I think. Was a tricky fight but well worth it (she carries a unique mask that's part of a set).Poseidon wrote:

I just finished the dark brotherhood questline. Leaves a bit of a bitter taste in your mouth, the whole thing is very 'dark' and made me feel kinda uncomfortable lol. Next playthrough I will destroy them rather than join them I think.

holy shit everyone wants me to do stuff for them FUCK OFF YOU CRETINS

I'd like to see a mod where they recreated Morrowind with this engine. I like Morrowind but I don't wanna go back to that crappy engine, it doesn't even have ragdoll physics, and there's the additional flaw of having an absurdly large amount of cliff racers attacking you, Bethesda even admitted that wasn't supposed to happen.
Unfortunately if you've talked to enough dark elves you'll find out that Red Mountain took a diarrhea all over the island of Vvardenfell 80 years before Skyrim so there won't be another current time game in Morrowind unless it's in the relatively small mainland coastal region that's also part of Morrowind next to Skyrim and Cyrodiil, but the Argonians came in after the eruption and conquered the rest of Morrowind anyway. And I was hoping maybe somehow Solstheim would be in Skyrim since it's so connected to Nordic culture and stuff like that, maybe it'll be in a DLC or something, just like it was only in the later released GotY edition of Morrowind.
And btw, if nobody's looked into it extensively, this game takes place 200 years after the events of Oblivion,

I think you've played more of this game than anyone else on here has at this point from what you post so this makes the game look continuously promising.

I killed all three prisoners at the beginning of the Dark Brotherhood questline. She was very impressed.
Looking forward to doing a second playthrough with a stealth character and doing the dark brotherhood/thieves guild. Although being a pure warrior is just as good. <3 shield bashing enemies to death
also I'm level 32 now, most skills around 60ish, and levelling is so slow now. going to take forever to get light armour/one handed up to 100

3 free kills, who wouldn't pass it up in an elder scrolls game?
I love the darkbrotherhood, but thats mainly because i love stealthy assasinations. Taking your time, planning and then executing it perfectly. The new throat-cut-animation makes it even more rewarding.
I didnt do any of the dark brotherhood stealthily.

^ That fucking dungeon right there, it felt like a fucking week to complete...
Did get that +70 stamina mask in TimmmaaaaH's screenshot above though, that nearly doubles my total Stamina :p
I bought a dog too, then he was killed by Forlorns
I murdered them and their chicken as revenge >:3
