Was reading this article:

The public hates almost everything Congress has done

and was thinking if there's anything I can think of that Congress has done in the last year or even two that I agree with and I can't think of anything.

Perhaps you guys can shed some light on their record?

In general, people are more likely to complain about government than support whatever it's doing except under rare circumstances (like right after a major terror attack).

Congress didn't pull us out of Iraq?  Is that a good thing?  They are funding the war effort in Afghanistan (however Reid just added the DREAM Act as a rider to the bill).

Giving illegals a path to citizenship through the military is fine by me.   The college part isn't so much what I would support though....

Yeah, I don't get how Illegals get to pay in-state tuition.  Isn't that unfair to the citizens who have to pay out-of-state?

People who are citizens of another country (not residents of any US state) get to pay in-state tuition...but US citizens who are simply residents of another state pay out-of-state?

Makes perfect sense.

I don't get it... Military service is already a path to citizenship... that's why my basic training class had a kid from Finland...

Why would someone from Finland want to be a US citizen? Statistics show it's one of the top countries to live in...

I would comment, but I've never been to Finland.  Although strangely...  I already know America is the best country to live in.

His family moved to Miami and this was his way of shortening the wait time for full citizenship rights.
