Missing new weapon Unlock oppertunity! >:'(

I recently got 2 unlocks out of nowhere just yesterday even before knowing about this patch existed , this probably means that unlocking the SF support and the Engineer was a bad mistake seeing if Ive known about this patch I would of saved it for the precious new sniper. Omfg the sniper sound is almost joygasmic. :'(

Anyway since Ive probably missed the chance will the promotion between Gunnery Seargent and Master Seargent be reduced? Or will I probably have to go my 7414 points till Master Seargent and my unlock?

No... Ranks below Sergeant Major werent affected... Sorry, but you have to wait until 20,000.

yeah...I'm deciding whether unlocking the MP-7 as opposed to the P90 was a good thing...but as I haven't played 1.2 yet...

I am so looking forward to the L96A1...I loved the sound of that thing in Nightfire and to see it in BF2...I just about wet my pants
