If we could, this better be pure 100% Colombian irony, as most folk have little to no clue what irony actually is, so they mislabel coincidence as such.

I'm really not going to go into it because I'm not going to drag people through shit for the fun of it. I'm going to say that just today there have been three very specific statements made by members that are so objectively incorrect that I laughed at my monitor. I don't hold it against anybody because I understand it is only a matter of ignorance that they have little control over (though in some cases most reasonable people would make at least half ass an attempt at fact checking before flying off the handle).

The fact is I adhere very strictly to my moral code with respect to power abuse. I would pay money to watch a BF2S member go through my posts/actions looking for mod abuse, that would be amusing. I think people feel mod abuse and such from my direction because I don't really give a fuck what you think. Not because I feel like I am better than you because I am a mod or for any other reason, just because I don't give a fuck what you think. I know that sentiment usually leads to all kinds of abuse, but like I said it is important to me to be extremely ethical.

And particularly when it comes to defending general mod decisions/feature request forum, I have so little say in what actually happens it's not even funny. I just jump in with what seems reasonable to me because I would fucking bathe in conflict if I could. But because of aforementioned apathy to general opinion, it comes off as dictatorial. E.g. the displaying post count, that has nothing to do with me being a mod that has to do with your argument being laughable. It's not like I'm actually going to do anything block someone with the power to do it from doing it, your stupid just annoys me so I'm going to say something about it.

So if someone has a legitimate problem with how I do my job I am more than happy to talk through my reasoning through private channels or pass it off to another mod if my performance needs to be reviewed. That would undoubtedly be the fastest method of getting me demodded. General "rawr what a dick" I really couldn't care less.

So this probably belongs in D&ST chat, but does anyone else hate it when people don't understand semantics and can't properly express themselves and make incorrect assumptions, as well as outrageously misinterpret anything you say? I've got a friend who is seriously linguistically-retarded and even though English is his native and only language, he cannot comprehend even the basics (and this is coming from someone who's an engineer, a math and science person, have never even studied any depth to the language).
