Yeah I have no idea what the purpose behind it is. It does seem pretty stupid. Oh well i'm not really bothered.

I'm much more interested to see what's new to spend my time worrying about a cosmeticly different wrench. As cool as it would be to have one obviously.

the shotgun, even with crits, has limited range
Sentries rarely get more than a kill or two within a short amount of time
so, close range only + 125 health + limited number of shots is going to end up with a dead suicidal engineer 90% of the time.
