im at home preparing my dissertation topic for my third year with a top-notch scholar via email, it's gonna be fucking pro.
i got let onto the third year due to 'extenuating circumstances', because of a veiled-explanation and a provided GP's note basically excusing a 6-month drugs-binge and cocaine habit, which pretty much destroyed my attendance (i woulda been 'incomplete' for the year on grounds of low attendance before even getting around to marking my work) and caused me to miss half my exams. they marked half the stuff i did give in though and it was all top-of-the-year 1:1 material... so they're also letting me do the dissertation, which normally only the top 10% of students are elligible to do.
so im working quite a lot, yes. mainly on myself, my shattered motivation/mentality, and on recovering the first-class degree that i pretty much let slip through my fingers. doing a lot of freelance writing / amateur reviews-criticism type stuff as well, and looking into some internships at PwC or some forward-looking hippie liberal company like Last.fm.
story of my life, as you asked, sir
