Get a grip , sort the Armour out on all heli but most of all on attack heli as the game aint worth a carrot anymore!   320 hours ive put in on this game and now its 0 since the new patch ...... shame on you!  infact sort out the counter measures whilst your there and increase the flares so they at least work you numties!

      thats the DICE team , you hear!

I was upset with the new patch at first too, mainly because my favorite thing to do is fly attack helo. But now I've already adjusted and I still own maps flying. In fact, it almost seems easier to fly now because I know where every stinger is and I know how to get to it and kill it easy. Course for all the noob pilots I know it's a bitch. Plus I also need to have a smart gunner with me. I hate the noobs who can't tv jets.

The main thing wrong with it that I now see are the claymore abuses. Support and snipers equal claymore crappiness. And also the bugs, seems to be too many bugs.

I like the Jets now, didn't have much of a chance before to fly but Air to Air seems easier now.  Stingers etc are now a problem rather than a joke but even I have managed to out run/manouver the.  The J-10's still own me though.  Hit points on the Choppers and Jets seem more even too.

Sniper is a bigger threat, Support a little more and engineers are now very powerfull.  Assault still needs work I think, GL was over-hyped in the forums and has paid the price of all the noise. 

Pity about all the crashes though, seems half the maps have problems (apart from poor map design).  I have no problems with the changes in the features, just the poor quality.  What will 1.21 bring ????

On a more pleasant note, Battlefield 2 hit somewhat of a milestone last night with over 52,000 simultaneous players. This is the highest number of players we’ve seen at one time for Battlefield 2 and almost 4 times more than the peak number of Battlefield 1942.

PRAISE THE LORD!!!!! goodbye noobtubing losers and base rapin pilots. At last some balance is back. Shame about choppers tho they ruined the black hawk and the other transport Helo guns still Suck! this is an infantry game not TOP GUN.

Support is now a viable option (Not just for point farming anymore!) You can actually hit something at range now! Woot!

okey okey .. here is the truth for all you people

1) No matter what patch comes out, there will be problems. Patches are not intended to make every player happy, and if they advertise that.. be warry. Look at World of Warcraft where every patch was designed to nerf paladins. Plain and simple

2) Anti Aircraft complaints. In real life a plane getting hit by AA fire/ missiles has a 95% chance of crashing. I seen F-15 flying low and getting hit by tank shells and manage to run away. UHHHH whats wrong with that picture.

3) this patch is starting to make the game more realistic. That means no Bunny hopping with dao-12's and other exploits. BAttlefield 2 is supposed to make a realistic replica of the experiences of modern warfare. It is not UT 2004. I am a master sgt. and i am  alot better than some of these fools that claim to be the masters of this game by using cheats, exploits, hacks, and stat padding. In fact just because some of these idiots are higher ranking than me does not mean i have to kiss their feet.

4) I went from a player with a 0.5 k/d ratio to 1.07 in just two months. I change my gameplay alot. One thing i do is spend more time hiding alot.... this is the reason i play only one class: Spec Ops. I get to hide, snipe with my g36 and place c4 on tanks to blow up. YOU CANT SHOOT WHAT YOU CANT SEE. When i play i do my absolute best to conceal myself at all times. i never work with a squad unless i am support or medic. i work alone and thats a fact. I make my own squad and lock it so no one will join.


I am the master of stealth, cunning ,espionage, demolitions, sabotage and a natural sharpshooter.  i am professionalx2324... by the time you see me comming.. well the next thing you will see in your screen is a phrase like this : You have been killed. Respawn in 15 seconds.

Holy shit, I never had lag in the entire time played this game until now. For some damn reason, I have lag out the ass man, WTF. This crap needs to be fixed man.

I bought the game 4 how it was. Tis patch is the wickeds change in a game i ever seen in my life time.
It's not the game i bought it's a complete different game.

The next time if i go buy a game from EA  I hope they please warn people 4 out coming patches that can change the hole crap.

So they can be saved from all the Horror

and mobility. I used to be able to outrun tanks and APC now I can't even look at them without dying. And WTF is

up with the helos?? I've taken down 3 with sniper rifle, WTF?? I hope they bring the game into balance again with

the next patch, for now I'm just going to removed the "NOOB PATCH" from my computer and play this game the

way is supposed to be played.

i mean till today it was ok the patch.. as i dont use GL or Jets.. BUT.. seeings my squad m8 spawning in front of me as enemy AGAIN AND AGAIN.. so that i either accidenlty kill him or scream scared like hell.. and remining EA's words "WE ARE PORUD TO SAY THAT THE TEAMBUG HAS BEEN REMOVED" it occured to me in EVERY GAME TODAY.. in every friggin game.. i mean before tha patch it happaned once a week or less. now?.. OMG

the 1.2 have barely fixed bugz... well only the movement seem to be fixed

GL is wierd, squad spawn is choking players, PKM got the accurrancy alittle better than the M95, enemy spawns chokingly close when taking flag, i spawn 4 meters from an enemy with my back to him allmost all the time there is an enemy near the spawn i am spawning.

the pistol could use some more spray, i am killing snipers with it when i am anti tank

nice. i did the same. im back to 1.12. theres these sweet nvidia servers that r 64 man and ranked + they have one for each map and theyre always full. havent been more satisfied with rooms since....

I was planning on uninstalling the game and reinstalling it and then install all the patches up to 1.12. But if

anyone has an alternative solution in which I don't have to  uninstall the game, pls let me hear it.

the official WW3 will start, i think, when Iceland invades Madagascar, which will involve iceland, costa rica, panama, fiji, mongolia, pakistan, hungary and yemen, agaisnt madagascar and the newly formed indochina (india and china will become 1 country) and impose conscription on all citizens, thus having a 2 billion person army.... they'll simply walk over for victory... stange enough the USA will not join the war since there is no potential oil field involved.. haha

Love the Patch!

I think that the complainers are those that have capatilized on the inequalities of the previous version. Finally there is more of a spectrum of unit types and the reliance on having the other types is increased. Something Helicopter pilots have never had to rely on before so its a bit of a change for them im sure

However, Red friendly bug is still rampant. And i am virtually positive that killing an enemy with a anti-air will now give you a TK once in a while.... maybe the enemy has the bug?

Both sam sites and antitank rockets will fire but nothing is released occasionally.

Since the patch i have had weapon sounds cutting out, both mine and others around me..including reload sounds. Hit reports go missing sometimes as well.

And somthing that should have been fixed in the patch is that damn anti air site on Dragon Valley (farm yard?) by the gazebo..the one on the left of the gazebo (facing temple) you get on there and sometimes cant get off/dismount.

ANYONE  COMPLAINING ABOUT THE NEW SNIPER RIFLE  IS RETARDED!

The new rifle is just an m24 the reloads a tiny bit quicker all i do is snipe and i used exclusively the m24 for along time. It is exactly the same.

You're just bitching because your getting sniped more often now because more people are trying sniping all at the same time so for now there is a flux of people trying the NEW!! sniper rifle which is nothing to write home about.  Everyone will realize its the same thing in no time and be back to the few the proud snipers you had before.

Overall, its pretty bad. The only thing I like is that if you are skilled w/ the noob tube (and thats the difference between noob and skilled player, that skilled playes use it effectively, and can use other weapons if necessary), you can still use it, as the timer creates such a small delay. If you shoot correctly, you can't move out of the way fast enough. That said, the explosion radius is now worse, and you can't jump and shoot anymore. There is now NO POINT IN USING A SHOTGUN, because the only way to get a simple kill with the shotgun was to jump and shoot as many times as your finger will let you.

If complaining from noobs got EA to make thhe changes, then maybe complaining back DIRECTLY TO EA will bring back some of the old ways of the game. I encourage everyone who feels like they were cheated by the patch to do that with me, and stop the game from suffering more changes from the noobs.
