its better than what i remember the stock gingerbread one being, though i havent used that in at least 6 months. used go sms on both, much much better.

i still use handcent, used go also. Both are far superior to any default sms client.

Spent a very long time customising it when I got it still looked ugly! Show us a screenshot of yours.

too lazy to edit a photo but it looks fine to me. im not sure what you look for in an SMS client... if iphones what your looking for theres an exact skin along with thousands of others.

mhmm, mines similar. black background, dark coloured boxes and bright font. i can see it in most light situations fairly easily

What I'd really like to see is gvoice integration with it, and actually you can set gvoice to be handled by go sms for incoming texts.. you cant send texts through gvoice and go sms though. Prolly because gvoice is still working out mms messages.

i actually figured out a way to get gvoice texts on my phone even though im in canada shame its not possible to get the actual phone or voicemail aspects to work on a canadian number, that would be really handy

gvoice might just be my favorite google service..lol. I've come to rely on it. Just not a fan of the official app.

There is an app that will ask you if you want to call using gvoice or your carrier when you place a call automatically. Pretty handy if you use two lines often.
