Yeah I wouldn't bet on Sprint releasing it before December 21, 2012. I rooted, it runs OK for the most part, a few glitches here and there that's the one thing I don't like about Android.

Weird technical ones. For instance, when I try unlocking my phone (I use the pattern lock), the green lines don't show up while I'm sliding my finger around. Sometimes the dots don't show up either, so I have to approximate. If I lock it in landscape, unlock it, open certain apps and put them in portrait, the screen turns black.

Just weird, annoying things like that. They get really annoying once in a while but it's not enough for me to roll back to Froyo.

Okay so i was dumb and when i installed liberty 2.1 i forgot to back my shit up. Stupid me. Can i factory reset it without breaking it? Or do i need to do some really long guide to get it to where i can get Motorola Blur UI so i can mess around again?

For a Hero, considering it's limited hardware, you wouldn't really benefit much from rooting.

I was hoping i would finally solve the lagg issues.
I remember when it came out that people instantly noticed the lagg and HTC said they would fix it with future updates. But what phone company keeps on supporting 1 phone (only apple afaik), if they can just make 5 new better ones? Which is what they did.

Theres so many cool apps in the amrket that i cant get. And the few cool ones taht i can get are way too laggy.

For example:
I can get angry birds, but its unplayable due to intensee lagg.
I want to get tap tap revenge 4 and gun bros (friend of mine has em on his desire hd and theyre present in the amrket on the internet) but theyre not compatible with my phone.

Stupid shit like this is whats making me get an iphone once my current subscription ends.

yeah, iphones can lagg, but only if they have shit runnng in the background or are just very full.
Mine doesnt have that much apps, so it should run smoothly.

well, i still dont regret my purchase.
because, at the time, it was a very great up and coming android phone. It looked (still does) a lot better than iphone 3(gs) imo.
But the problem is that at the time the app market was small, but i knew it would grow to be larger (and it did) and they never kept their word on updating it. They just stopped doing it and released a whole bunch of new phones that could handle it all.

If only they would make an update that would fix the lagg and would allow the hero to run ALL android apps and not just a select retarded few, it would be an awesome phone.
