Does anyone else find the chat hard to read? It seems blurry and hard to read for me. I can't tell if it's the font, or what. Maybe it's just where the text is a size smaller and my eyes aren't perfect ...

Other images included for reference.

Out of those three images, I find Steam the hardest to read.

The Friends list is the same, but not as worse - it's easier to read than the Chat ...

Is it just me, or ... ?

It's certainly not as sharp a font, can't say I find it harder to read though.

Yeah we can, Steam is exactly the same for everyone, it's one of the reasons it's getting so many complaints. Personally I don't have a problem with the font, looks a bit shit but, it's readable for me, others have a lot of trouble with it.

Hmmm, ok

Someone get Steam on the line and tell 'em it's hurting liq's eyes. They'll know who it is, I am a BF2S moderator after all.

But seriously, I hope they do something about it. While it may not be as noticeable for some people, it is noticeable. It certainly isn't a good feature at any rate, so they should fix it.

It's because the contrast isn't as great on the chat as the other examples, steam is gray on gray.

BF2S is grey-on-grey, too. And the blue-on-grey on Steam is blurred too.

Try adding a non-steam game to your list and setting it to favorites...

Crysis Warhead 64bit keeps removing itself from fav's

Only reason I use favorites is because of how annoying it is that the shade of gray and white are not easily distinguished between installed and not...

BF2S is a lot more white than the steam examples, and BF2S is more difficult to read than the Word document.

The friends list still has a lower contrast comparatively, look at the background gradient. Lucien is easier to read than bearbearbearbear.

List view top right (the highlighted one on my screenshot where it says view), then right click the heading bar (where it says Games ^ and what not) and choose icons.
