Also, wearing a flag as a piece of clothing doesn't equate to patriotism, nor does it follow the US Flag Code.

They said it was to prevent an eventual fight. To be honest, if a fight did occur the people responsible for the action should be punished. I say let him wear the US t-shirt and bandanna. If he gets beaten up, it will teach him a lesson, but the doers will be in deeper shit.
