If so: definately 1942

Today it's
Bad Company 2 > 2142 > 2 > Vietnam > 1942

But that's only because of new tech obviously

BC2.. tbh. I think I only played BF2 as much as I did due to hardware limitations, but nowadays I'm not playing BF2 and I am playing BC2. I don't know how long BC2 will hold my attention, but it's fun while it lasts.

I'm a total bf noob, only played bf2 and bc2. My vote is for bf2 though, not sure bc2 will last me over 4 years. I just pray that when I'm done with bc2, bf2 will still be active enough to get some decent games going. In fact, I'm only a few thousand points away from a col. with a shiny birdie, I've come this far, might as well go that extra little bit; hell, might as well get the last few awards I'm missing too.

I voted BF2 just because that was fun enough to rack up 300-400 hours of gameplay and even with the bugs/"fixes", it was still a very solid and enjoyable shooter.

That being said, you simply cannot look past 1942.  The variety with vehicles/maps was astounding, especially for its time.  Who could forget sitting in an LCVP heading towards Iwo Jima seeing the beaches crawling with enemy infantry and amror, planes flying overhead and strafing, and your battleship firing shells over your head.  Truely some epic moments if the game was played right.  And throw in Desert Combat, hell I should've voted 1942 haha

i only started playing the series when BFV came out so i have no experience with 1942 but BFV provided some good times.

id have to say bf2 though, besides some minor/major bugs it was a near perfect game.

BF2 was great, but I'm actually leaning towards BC2 BECAUSE there are no jets, and there are very few maps with choppers. Another reason BC2 is better is the fact that there are multiple modes of play. Even though there are less classes you can combine and and mix weapons / kits to your liking. Hitreg is also better in BC2. If they ever add more maps to this game it will be even more so the best BF of all time.
