the health experts are right, it is relatively safe compared to alcohol and the like
the legal/societal experts are also right, it is unsafe to have such a substance and the implications of its abuse left to run riot in society
drugs and their health-risks are one thing. drugs and their effect on society and people as a whole are another. it's just not conducive to a good society to have a generation of abusers, escapists and wasters.
