Although one time I had a 72yo prof for an engineering ethics course. Was at 8am in the morning so half the class (err, half the people that showed up to class) was always asleep, but he would always tell such great stories and impart good advice. He was the grandpa I never had.
same with this professor really; he's had a great career ranging from chile to china, but my favorite lesson by far was the presentation he gave us on the dynamics of earthquakes and how chile was affected by the one that week (he's from chile, hence why he gave us the lesson)mtb0minime wrote:
