Id rather have my nuts looked at through one of those total recall xray scanners than to be picked out of the crowd because the shade of my skin or my middle name.
You're just so sensitive.

I'd rather we focused on behavior, as the nutjobs have already tried to get around the racial profiling bit (see the guy who set his underoos on fire).
nothing wrong with focusing on behavior but ive been most recently racially profiled by the piece of shit LASD and at least 2 out of the last 3 times Ive been pulled over withi9n the last 5 years was definitely racial profiling.  It was a shitty shitty feeling.

I ended up fighting a court case for 10 months because the cunt bitch deputy that checked my ID couldnt believe I served in the military.

Here's the only question I have. Whoever has been to an airport knows that you can walk in and around the spaces there with hundreds of people. What stops a terrorist from detonating a bomb there, or at a Football stadium with thousands of people? I can see how blowing up a plane was a good target, but it seems everything in security is directed at preventing another 9/11, when infact you could kill more people at any other crowded place. If suicide bombers switched it up a bit they'd never get caught. And killing 1000 people is just as much propaganda as blowing another plane up.
Some of them can't even ignite their bombs properly and instead practically self-immolate, y'think they could brainstorm something like that?
Just as we oftentimes make the mistake of trying to put ourselves in their place with our western mentality and thought processes, they likely do the same thing with their non-western mentality and thought processes and miss obvious things like this.

And I'm perfectly OK with that.
I do think they could, a number of them are from Britain so I'm sure they could. Matter of time.

Ironic that our best defence so far has been luck.

Unfortunately, cops are humans with the same faults as those who aren't cops. You'd think that training would knock that out of them, but I guess it doesn't.

I was just yanking your chain about the sensitive remark. Can't imagine what it's like having to deal with that, and wish I could snap my fingers and make it go away. It's utter bullshit that people are so fucking ignorant to have those kinds of views in this day and age.

One nice thing about the military, in 15 years, I've never seen overt racism of any sort--even towards ME guys during the past 8 years.

All i did was show her my military id when she asked for identification and she said that somebody that looks like me could not have possibly served in the military and for me to stop telling her that because people were actually dying in iraq.  When she said that I went off.  I had just ets'ed not even 2 weeks before that, i had just returned from the box about 2 months before that.  I was arrested for resisting arrest....and no other crime following.  Now, if I was resisting arrest, what was i doing to get arrested in the first place?  I was in the back seat of the squad car not even 2 minutes from her arrival so I didnt even have much time to resist.  Later during the court case I was told by public pretender that PC 148 is a police officer's general purpose charge when they have no reason to detain somebody.  The only evidence required for conviction is the police report, which was full of bullshit when i read it.  The jury will ALWAYS take a peace officer's word over the accused.

Dead on about the military.  The only overt racism Ive seen was with fellow enlisted and even then you just go along with it because it aint personal.  IF they say something racially offensive, you reply with something as equally as offensive and conflict resolved and we're still friends.
