really dont think i can list a top 10. Too many great games in the last 10 years.
10. Counter-Strike 1.6 (Nostalgic value. One of my first fps games)
9. Killing floor (Lots of fun with friends)
8. MW2 (Terribly constructed game with idiotic userbase that is fun to rape)
7. TF2 (Was fun for a while. Too team-oriented for me in the long run though)
6. Urban Terror (Quake 3 mod that was released as a standalone opensource game. I still love it, mainly for the jump maps)
5. CoD4 (Decent game with some flaws and stupid userbase. Fun times still)
4. Wolfenstein Enemy Territory (Pretty much the first game I started playing seriously. Nostalgic value)
3. Left 4 Dead/2 (Was awesome to play since the beginning. Fun times)
2. Battlefield 2 (Still the best fps game out, period)
1. Hello Kitty Cutie World (OMG I FUCKING LOVE KITTIEZ)
Honorary mentions: CoD WaW zombie co-op was fun but the MP was fucking shit.

List is null, most of it them suck ass.-Sh1fty- wrote:
In no particular order.
- Crysis (It has amazing physics, graphics and gameplay. The downside? You need an ub3r-gaming rig to run it properly.)
- Call of Duty 4 Modern Warfare (Good graphics, good story line, amazing gameplay. Downside is it's noobish audience online.)
- Left for Dead (Managed to put the words "Teamplay" and "Fun" together in one awesome action packed zombie killing game. Downside is no storyline campaign.)
- Battlefield series (Amazing gameplay, very fun and still going strong, no downside, it's still in the top ten most played games)
- ArmA 2 (Brings realism to the PC gamers with an extremely fun Warfare mode. Downside? God like AI with an engine that sucks up all the energy you PC can muster.)
- Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 (Total crap game, but it broke sales records and it's extremely popular)
- Brothers in Arms Hell's Highway (Finally some decent graphics for this game, along with fun gameplay and a great strategy game. The story also rocks)
- Grid (Amazing graphics, awesome cars, tons of race tracks. Downside being not enough music, the engines don't sound powerful and they could have added tons of more races. More like The Fast and Furious movies.)
I can't think of ten.
And the biggest epic fail of the year is.....drum roll please...drrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
Operation Flashpoint Dragon Rising
This game promised so much and didn't deliver. It was 9th place of most played games the first couple of days it came out, and now it's down in the 50s. This game was a total absolute definition of FAIL.
I've played many a good game over the last ten years, far more than ten stand out to me, but in no particular order, here's my picks:
BF2 (orly?)
Oblivion
GTA Vice city
Metroid Prime Trilogy
Super Smash Brothers: Melee (awsm dorm game)
CoD4/5 (Same game really, both are fun)
Crysis/Farcry 2 (not for the storylines, but for the scenery they're worth a mention)
Jedi Outcast (All future lightsaber based games better have this combat system)
Dragon Age: Origins is installed, but still unplayed, but I have a feeling it would have made this list as well.

9. Rome/Medieval 2 Total War -- I'm putting these two together since they are similar in the end, and there is nothing better than seeing your thousands of soldiers charging down a hill with swords and spears. Love them.
8. Americas Army 1-2xx -- My very first proper online FPS, I got completely sucked into it.
7. Call of Duty 2 -- Kar98.
6. Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six 3: Raven Shield -- A lot of great weapons in the game, so many custom made maps. Especially the stargate ones.
5. Call of Duty 1 -- Kar98 and Ruski charging.
4. Anno 1404 Dawn of Discovery -- I love this game. Its relaxing, it's got great graphics and gameplay is fun.

1) Call of Duty Modern warfare I and II. the successor to my experiences in BF2.
2) Battlefield II: i never thought i could play a online FPS for a good 2 years straight. as flawed as it is, it is the epic game, period!.
3) Half Life I and II: need i say more, especially the reputation that it has to this day.
4) Max Payne I and II. the first one blew the shit out of my mind in more ways you cant imagine.
5) Star Wars: Knights of the Old republic I and II ( the sith lords).
6) Star Wars: Jedi Knight II: another bad ass game. once i got my lightsaber + force powers, storm troopers were a laugh to destroy.
7) Aliens versus predator I and II: my very first online FPS experience. Predator+ cloak+ Shoulder plasmacaster= PWNAGE. got to love that disc where you can slice someone's head off.
8) Tom Clancy: Rainbow Six Rogue spear. one of my favorite FPS. good realism with weapons, nice story
9) Diablo II: a clickfest, but boy that game was fun. AX, hammer, sword, paladin, barbarian: need i say more. and the demons you fought were tough and rewarding
10) Deus EX: loved that game especially with the multiple endings. has similarities to AC I and II in terms of the templars.

I loved to smash all the lightning in an area as an alien and then sit still in a corner on the ceiling to scare enemy humans to death in multiplayer in the first one.specialistx2324 wrote:

dont be suprised if MW 1 and 2 made it into my top 10, because with all the games i played since 2000, it was hard to generate a list of top 10 video games for the last decade. i played other games the last 2 years. MW 1 and 2 seems to be the most memorable.
look at the reviews and the shitload of people that gave MW2 a nice decent try . the numbers/ results speak for themselves. and i am saying that not as a fanboy, but a realist homie.
