After having it lying around for almost a year, I'm finally playing.

I'm on Feros right now and about to finish that up. However..

1) Where are the prime places to go? What else should I do to get credits?
2) How can I get stronger guns?
3) How do I do all these: biotic throw, biotic warp, biotic singularity, etc
4) How can I create a romance subplot? Ashley Williams is a hot piece of ass.
5) What are paragon/renegade points?

Any help/tips/suggestions are appreciated.

1) Everywhere, explore all the worlds and do all the sub quests.
2) You can buy them or find them. I tend to hoard guns then sell them for stronger ones.
3) Depends on what class you chose for your character. If you didnt choose the ones with those abilities then you have to get your biotic side kick to do it for you.
4) Jus keep talking to her in between missions.
5) Good/evil points. Get them by being helpful or peaceful/violent and a dick

Yeah to use the awesome powers you have to choose to be an adept (or whatever the biotic is called) at the beginning.

I played through as a Soldier the first time and the second was so much more enjoyable because of the biotic powers.

Okay so I rescued that blue chick who joins my squad and I'm about to go to Virmire but I don't want to yet. Where are the best places to go for side quests and shit? I want credits.

quite true, not terribad though

in any case, fly the normandy around to different systems and explore the planets. you can land on some, and there'll usually be some side quest affiliated with it. also, check back on the citadel, there's usually quests being offered somewhere or another

also, here's a piece of advice: when you're in the galaxy map selecting a planet from a star system's map, hold the camera still for a asecond and look for a blue glint of light, usually in an asteroid belt

right about now, you can visit the requisition officer in C-Sec on the citadel and look at how 1337 the spectre gear stuff is compared to what you have

My char used mind powers to blow people up. Truly epic way to go.

Esp if you clock the game as a soldier first. Gives you the option to have another weapon specialisation from the start. Vanguard + assault rifles = facemelter.

I played through Mass Effect with an Infiltrator, with Tali and Liara.

Shit was CASH, there was always something blowing up every second. And when I REALLY needed something killed, Spectre X sniper rifle with explosive rounds.
