I liked 2009. 2008 was a cunty bitch fuck-arse of a year through so anything better than that was going to be welcome. I got my degree in '09, I joined the Army in '09, I organised a wicked trip to South America in '09, (to be taken in '10.) I also saw The Who in '09 which still probably rates as the best thing to happen.

All in all I'm chalking '09 up as a win.

Honestly MJ dying or Obama getting the Peace Prize doesn't even register on my radar.
