Yes I would, rude obnoxious people in one line, and people who show common courtesy in another. Good suggestion.
I'm sure we could solve all problems through segregation. Separate water fountains to stop them cutting in line for those too.

Nope, people reacted to a rude bitch. Their reaction was not an over reaction. It was proper. Unless you are saying someone who cuts infront of you and pushes your shit out of they way soes not warrant your attention.

Also if you wann know the truth, the tension in that town comes from behavior just like this woman presents. It is a common behavior, and people are sick of it.
Lets just say this would not have happend in many other countries than the US, I have yet to experience the police getting involved in a "cutting in line" incident ...

That alone tells me that the incident have more wrongdoers that just the woman cutting in line ... a conflict is never one sided lowing ...
This is probably true, you have more important things to get arrested for, like a soccer score.  Is the air thin high on that perch of yours?
Was that the best you could do?

You have heard of escalation before, it's the main contributor to a silly incident leading to war in the worst case scenario ... when cutting in line gets so serious you need the police to to resolve the situation you have jumped several steps on the escalation ladder, and that again shows that more than one person helped escalate the situation ...

Pure logic lowing ... try seeing and understanding the different sides from time to time ...

she wasn't arrested for cutting in line, she was arrested for assault on a police officer and disturbing the peace. Her own action and behavior got her arrested, not the other patrons.

Did I need to do better? You speak as if you are all so sophisticated, and intellectually superior to the rest of us, yet you will kill a referee, or the family of a goalie, or an opposing fan over a soccer score. Just do me a favor, tone down your self righteous bullshit. It ain't fooling anyone.

I already told you that I agreed with you, segregate the rude, obnoxious, disrespectful people from the respectful, courteous people. What more ya want me to say?

What the hell has this got to do with killing a soccer referee if I may ask, or the family of a goalie?

And what in particular was self righteous bullshit from my part I wonder ...

I'm saying a story always has two sides to it and I always try to look at it from that perspective, if that is all it takes to be sophisticated I'll take that as a compliment!

"Lets just say this would not have happened in many other countries than the US, I have yet to experience the police getting involved in a "cutting in line" incident"  ,<------------ you wrote this.

Basically you are saying nothing this stupid or juvenile would happen in any other country, just the USA. Well committing murder, or violent rioting over a soccer score, I consider just as juvenile and stupid more in fact, and if you take that as a compliment well, my point is even more proven.

If you for one moment think I cherish soccer holigans you are gravely mistaken lowing ...

As usual you pick the irrelevant parts of a post and answer them in your usual dense manor ... you have a hard time keeping your reasoning on the topic ... as usual ...

The point is you overlook the soccer hooligans while pointing out that "the police stepping in over line cutting is something that wouldn't happen in my country/Europe" to paraphrase. People do stupid shit everywhere. That seems to be the area where some of us have a hard time keeping our reasoning on topic to me...it was a pointless and petty shot at the U.S., and it seems to me like it started with you.

You make it sound like we have hooligan soccer fights with exstensive murders each day, those incidents are actually quite rare these days ... and I can't remember a goalie or referee or their families ever being killed over a soccer game ...

So can we then continue discussing the topic before the density of both members and staff hits the roof?

The point I made about the police being involved in a cutting in line incident was to illustrate the point of the town in question has serious issues with tension between the various groups ... and to be fucking honest in what other civilized country would police involvement be necesary to solve a petty problem like this?

What are you talking about, there was only 2 sentences in the post I was quoting and that was the very first one. How can you say I neglected the relevent part of the post when your post was MOSTLY stating that behavior doesn't happen anywhere else.

I goes toward juvenile behavior, and as proven the US does not corner the market on it.

You commented on the only part of my post that really had no real connection to the topic while you ignored the more relevant part ... if you read back to the beginning of the thread you can read that I was actually leaning more towards she being the one that most likely started it all ...

Well, the cops aren't called out for line cutting everydsay either Varegg. and they were not called out for her line cutting, they were called out for her baligerant behavior, behavior the police witnessed first hand.

soccer violence, not such a rarity.

Even your fellow mod recognized your post for what it implied. A mod agreeing with me, noe THAT is a rarity.

An irrate, offensive person who agitates customers, retail workers, and local law enforcement is clearly not innocent. Anger Management classes and a cup of STFU is in order /CASE DISMISS

The point is Varegg the police stepped in because there was a clear disturbance of the peace, and why you had to take the demeaning "only in America" approach is not appreciated. As you keep saying yourself it wasn't even relevant to the OP, it was just fightin' words. You can't say something like that and expect people to read it and ignore it.
