- Victim Thought He'd Be Buried Alive (Phoenix, AZ)
If you're so concerned about your safety you should pick up a martial arts form... it's infinitely more useful than buying a gun. You're not going to be carrying one 24/7 (given you're not absolutely paranoid and take the damn thing with you -everywhere-) and you might not get the chance to draw one anyway.
All it really does is give you a faux sense of safety.

inane little opines
I vaguely remember this bit of news. The guy showed a lot of trust jumping through all these loops to meet his family friend. Also thought he should've accepted the offer to transport drugs. Could've always ratted later. A ratting under duress doesn't make you a rat.
No guarantee of that.
This, considering the brutal manner in which they were planning to do him in. Buried alive? Fuck.CC-Marley wrote:

Bad guys gun buy guns too, if a bad guy has the drop on you with a gun having a gun in your pocket is simply not going to help you.Shocking wrote:

Fuck Israel
Also, bad guys, especially ones as violent as those two, probably have much more experience in using their gun.
And by experience I mean more than going to a firing range.

Wouldn't surprise me, already found a hand grenade in my foundation...west-phoenix-az wrote:
Maybe someone is buried under your house.
At first I thought you were saying he was really sad... LOL13rin wrote:
He laid in a depression and covered himself with leaves until they left.
"Ok, I am free, but I am just so sad that I am going to lay here...."
Sorry about your friend, and there is nothing funny about the story, I am laughing at my own slowness.
Actually, it makes me MORE paranoid when I am carrying. Which is probably safer for me, but ignorance is bliss. I prefer to not mess with it most of the time. I prefer to believe in the goodness of others instead. With that being said, if I am dead next week, I recommend you all buy guns.Shocking wrote:
