Best game I've played since Deus Ex, but that game doesn't count cuz it was released in 2000.

Really, this game is brilliant. Excellent humor, fun gameplay, cool enemies, 9001^9001 guns, and co-op mode, and an art style that makes TeamFortress 2 look bland and generic.

It's the one of the FPSRPG's that really is both an FPS and an RPG.

It is however impossible to get online working (it took me and Miggle almost an hour to be able to play together, and even then we had to do some crazy hack with hamachi) and the controls can be weird and annoying. But other than that this is easily the best game of the year, L4D2 has gotta need to be The Second Coming or something to secure game of the year.

Game is brilliant! Playing it over LAN with my brother, class stuff!

Level 35 beserker. Begun 2nd play through.


My shotguns fire rockets. Everywhere. Seriously one burst fires like 8 rockets in one salvo, sprays them EVERYWHERE.



Little shit of a bro stole the only alien gun though.



Only really imbalanced thing I've found so far is the zerker's ability.

The final boss fight and ending were terrible.

How was the final boss terrible?

I almost went into fits over nostalgia. Truly old-school boss fight there, the likes of which ye aint seen since the early days of 3D or even earlier.

Epic game indeed. Even better with friends, although random strangers online can be annoying, especially with no host server control (kick, etc).

Highly Consolized (though less so than anything else to come out in the last 5 years), Highly Repetitive.

Also highly fun, and definitely GOTY worthy.

Aside from the occasional Valve game, this is probably one of the best I've played this decade.

Are there any cities or places with people in them later?

Wandering around the wastes, every single person you see is hostile. Shit gets lonely

Took less than a minute to take it down and the rewards were pathetic.

I like the game overall, the end was just disappointing to me.

might buy this...

bored of everything i play at the moment.

do we have enough people from bf2s/steam to play it for much lulz?
