Westwood is a nice place, the campus is nice too. But as far as an education goes, I'm a little iffy. Some of my professors have been spectacular and I'll never forget them, and then others have been retarded. To be perfectly honest, I came here for the brand name. However I was strongly considering going to Cal Poly Pomona since they seem to have a better grasp on the sub-branch of CE that I want to do; didn't make up my mind until a day or two before 'intent to register's were due.

Yeah it is, Ohh CE nice!, I was going to apply for westmont, cause I got one of those "only a selected few of you get this super duper acceptance form(my ass)" but I didn't lol, but yeah I heard UCLA is a good pre-med school so I want to go there, if not UCLA, i'll go to UCSB or UCSD for me, last resort would be UCD, My friend was going to go to Cal Poly, he even got accepted too, but he dropped out of AP Calculus with a D first semester and they still said it was okay and then they denied his acceptance like 4 weeks before school started so he got stuck with crappy classes at our city college!

I went to UCLA because I got denied my first choice   It's an amazing campus, a great brotherhood to be in (you get to rail against all the wannabe USC fanbois that didn't actually go to USC), generally good sports teams (especially UCLA bball!).

I've heard their pre-med is great too, but that's only anecdotal.  A friend of mine recently graduated their Optometry program though, paid for by his GI Bill

I did IGETC as well, easy shoo-in to any UC school as long as you follow your counselor's advice and keep the grades up.  Only C I ever got in any college course was in Math.  It actually took me 3 tries to pass Statistics, although 2 of those tries were with teachers who only had a basic grasp of the English language.

Awesome Ken! thanks! right now i'm taking 4 classes all are IGETC acceptable(thank god) cause I just learned about the IGETC on sunday, never really knew or care what it was, but if I want to do it, I have to take 6 classes next semester, and then 3 or 4 during the summer and then i'll be at UCLA as a sophmore, or is it junior? idk but either way, i'll be a future UC student , i'm a freshmen right now and I play to do all my 34 or 39 units in 1 year

Yeah, you're right, irish really is a terrible bf2s user.

How many times have you been banned i7batman?  There's a great Billy Joel album you should get.  It's called Glass Houses.  Or perhaps you are well-versed in architecture and know of the famous "Johnson House"?
