I'm personally not expecting anything, I ordered a book for Winston_Churchill and as I ordered it with normal delivery via Amazon... it could be a long time now before it arrives.
3 more striker days planned next week.

Fuck sake. About 3 weeks ago I asked my mum if she would order me a t-shirt for halloween as an early christmas present. She said sure, but we didn't have enough money that week because we are paying for our kitchen and we had £40 to last us the rest of the month. She got paid the next week so said it was cool. 3 days in a row I asked her to which she said "I promise I'll do it tommorow". I gave up. Asked her two days ago, and we got right to the point of checking out, when it asks you for some fucking password thing for your account....She can't remember her password, so says she can't be bothered that night. I ask earlier today and she said "sure, when I've taken your sister to the opticians". She just got back, and I asked, for her to say no, because somehow, we only have £40 again...
I don't have a problem with not getting it, it's cool, I understand we have more important shit to spend money. But why keep saying you're gonna buy it if you're obviously not. Just say you don't want to at the moment or something
who also want a cool t-shirt for halloweenRed Forman wrote:

To be fair, it was £17, but like I said, I'm cool with us being skint and needing it for other stuff. I'd just rather be told to forget about it atm than them just keep putting it off.Mekstizzle wrote:

Thats quite selfish of you, i don't wish to judge you harshly but you are perpetuating the cycle itself. You asked your mother for something and naturally she wants to provide for you, but its clear she really isnt in the situation to do so at the moment. But then she doesnt want to let you down, it probably breaks her heart to keep putting you off. I'm sure you understand your mother faces far more complexities than you getting the t-shirt you want.JakAttaK wrote:

Fair point baggs. Never really thought about it like that. Does ruin my idea for my costume though Haha, I'll just wear another t-shirt.baggs wrote:

I would suggest the best thing you can do is tell your Mother that you understand why you can't have the t-shirt yet, i'm sure she'll appreciate that greatly. You've admitted on here that you're not that bothered, so why don't you let that be know to your Mother. She'll love you all the more for it.
It's just a t-shirt after all, you'll buy possibly hundreds of t-shirts of your own over the course of your lifetime!
Well nothing new there. We sent some postcards to friends back in february when we were in London. They arrived in april. Ppl were first like "wtf you guys went to London again?" until they saw the date. There's nothing Royal about that mailserviceliquidat0r wrote:
