all 4 great grandfathers were in WWI, along with 6 of their brothers, 3 great grandfathers came back alive and only 2 of their brothers did.
one of the surviving great grandfathers lost the toes on his right foot, and 2 on his left... because they pretty much rotted off

both grandfathers were in WWII both came back alive, 3 of their brothers went over, 2 came back

granddad # 1 was a tanker
granddad # 2 was infantry

great uncle #1 was a fighter pilot
great uncle #2 was a tail gunner in a halifax bomber
great uncle #3 was in the navy somewhere

funny story about grandad #2

he went through north africa, sicily, italy (including fighting in ortona) then sent back to england to go through western europe.... didnt get a scratch on him, gets home and loses two toes on the left foot a month after starting work at the steel mill

although we have almost nothing left because my piece of shit whore aunt stole everything and sold it all at a yard sale

he was pissed off about that until the day he died

Here's how it goes for me:

Grandad #1 was in the Swiss military he keeps telling me about this story of when they had to dig foxholes in -30°C temperatures and that the Swiss army actually wasn't half bad back then.

Grandad #2 was in the US Army, just between WW2 and Korea, he didn't do anything important, I forgot what he did. Ever since the army he's been lazy.

Uncles x2 and Dad were in the Swiss military. I can't tell you what my dad did around 1980 or so or he'd be in trouble. Well a hero but in trouble /brag

Uncle was in USAF worked as a mechanic

Next is me, USMC, hoping for 0311 or something along those lines.

All my good friends in the US are Marines. Great guys, oh and I never want to play airsoft with them again, got 3 BBs in my balls after being suppressed and flanked at shot at point blank. <3 those jerks

My dad was in the navy but thankfully narrowly missed serving in the falklands. He wanted to be a military policeman, but the guy he was interviewed by was a cunt, and told him he couldn't join because he had hayfever My grandad was an evacuee in the war, but was a policeman when he grew up, and had something to do with stopping the bomb going off at scotland yard.

I've got 2 mates joining the navy, and one mate currently doing his marine training.

Here's how my family's military history goes.

1944: Ty's great Uncle Mike starts training to become a Spitfire pilot
1945: Ty's great Uncle Mike goes to Europe to fight the Nazis. Arrived in England but war is already over. Given a medal and sent home.

2008: Ty starts application to join New Zealand Territorial Forces
2009: Ty finally finishes application to join New Zealand Territorial Forces
Ty becomes Private Ty of Bravo Company.

We'll see where it goes from here.

I've got an ATF friend and his wife staying over at our place 3 times, 1 time every weekend as a hub for their tour of Europe.

He was at the wacko shooting and says he's fucking pissed at the liberal cunts who didn't tell the full story. He also still has 31 pellets from a shotgun in a muscle near his lower back from being shot there. He only got the guy who nailed him in the knee, who never really walked again. bwuahahaha
