The Irish music and film industry has been booming the past few years. Bands like The Script and The Coronas have become hugely popular amongst Irish teenagers/young adults. Films such as The Wind That Shakes The Barley and Intermission are a far better watch than most of the rubbish that comes from Hollywood.

It's clear there's tonnes of talent in Ireland, us Irish see it and hear it everyday. What I want to know is have any of you guys heard of the above titles?

Friend of mine is a real fan of The Wind That Shakes The Barley, I remember she brought that up when we discussed some other Irish film I'd seen. I've forgotten the name of that though. Oisín do you happen to know what movie it is about those two friends selling wigs to the IRA?

I have heard of The Script, don't like them. The Wind that Shakes The Barley is also ok. But I have never heard of anything else.
