Did you get whole new woofers or did you refoam them? Anyhow, the suspension looks a bit ill-fit on the left (bottom in pic) side
Got new woofers (Energy). Also, you're right about the suspension--but for some reason they're back to normal now...
D:

Why didn't you refoam?!
I tried that at first (cheaper, too), but Sound Dynamics went out of business ten years ago. I couldn't find the right parts, and I didn't have the time to bother with ebay.
So I just went to this awesome speaker reapir shop (Freezer, you'd be fapping for hours on end in there with the stuff they have in the "to fix" line) and asked the guy for a pair of good 10" woofers. He asked me how much bass I wanted, and I referred him to the size of the ports--et voilà! And besides, I want to inheirit them, so rubber suspension it is. Refoaming would only keep 'em together for another ten.

True, rubber is better, it lasts while foam doesn't that's why all the high end speakers have a rubber isolation.

Yes, but if you don't get a speaker with the same parameters, the sound will change radically.
The idea of any hi-fi system is to reproduce the source material as faithfully as possible, and to deliberately add distortion to everything you hear (due to amplifier deficiencies) because it sounds 'nice' is simply not high fidelity. If that is what you want to hear then there is no problem with that, but by adding so much additional material (by way of harmonics and intermodulation) you have a tailored sound system, not a hi-fi. - Rod Elliot, ESP

Given that the boxes are designed for their specific drivers, it usually does. At least if the speakers are proper.

The chord on my Sennheiser HD215 is dying, does anyone know where I can get a new one?

The chord, a.k.a. cable.

More specifically the 3.5" plug itself.

Yeah, sound's different. There's an absence of distortion.

In all seriousness, we've had this debate before. I don't care how it differs from the original sound (wasn't around 25 or so years ago when they were new), only that now they sound good. And I can tell you upfront that the woofers I got are different from the original insofar as they produce much more of the lower-end of the low-end frequencies.

As long as you're happy. Just pointing out, as they seem to be a bit better speakers.

Just the plug? Can't you replace it yourself? Take the jack off of one of your audio cables, at least I have have a gazillion of el cheapo cables that I got with soundcards and speakers. Or just get a new one online for .50€.

Uhm no. 1066MHz is much better for overclocking the CPU.
Correct, but only if he's going to overclock.
Also, DDR3 has higher latencies than DDR2.
I tried to tell this to a kid on another board, and he said this:

CrazeD. DDR3 does > DDR2 -_-, even then again DDR4 is even better, if you have the money for it, i run 7 gig's of DDR3 ram, and will soon be changing to 3 gig's of DDR3. my comp is worth about 7 grand, and i can code in 6 langs and have my own games / hack programs for games i play, so dont try out wit me with PC's.

TBFH its not. Some GFX cards had GDDR4 but these days they use GDDR3 or GDDR5.

ok so I have two files with thousands of numbers in them, each number unique and one number per line. One contains all the good and bad numbers, the other contains only the bad numbers. How do I make it erase all the bad numbers from the "good and bad numbers" file?

uhhh...run one pass for each number bad number, when you're done with each pass go to the next bad number...surely this isn't where you're having the problem?

Yeah I'm not programming anything here, and there are thousands of numbers so it would take a while

copy into word or something and "delete all instances of" or replace all with a space?
