I thought the contour only shot 30fps in HD where the go pro could do 60. Bunch of my buddies got the go pro for snowboarding and it looks great. One of them is a pro filmer and uses his all the time for us, not in the vids though.
Both shoot 1080p at 30fps and 720p at 60fps according to the specs. It's possible he has a different Go Pro model which does do 1080p at 60fps.Nic wrote:

Thats what I meant @720p, I thought the contour only did 30 there. I know the colors on the GoPro come out great and it when slowing it down it comes out better than some other ~$6000 dollar cameras. Apparently they've been working on both an update to the iPhone 4 (the 4S) and an entirely new iPhone, as evidenced by the cases sent to many store which could in no way hold an iPhone 4. Unless they've changed the body on the iPhone 4 for th 4S update (doubtful), I think it is safe to assume we can expect an entirely new phone.

apparently it drops immediately after every update, i cant imagine releasing a nonexistent update would hurt them - people will still buy them by the millions.
i guess we'll just have to wait another year for them to release something significant.
