Get the 2gb gpu, how much memory do you get for free? You wont notic a difference in a .1ghz speed increase but you might notice the extra 2mb cache.
for a fatty you're a serious intellectual lightweight.

Also, if you need the extra screen space you can always hook up an extra monitor when at your desk

lol. ok Big GPU, check <3

about the memory: i took off the 4gb and 6gb memory options that were cheaper because well, they prolly arent good enough im sure you'll agree.
price varies greatly
FREE Upgrade to 8GB DDR3 System Memory (2 Dimm)
12GB DDR3 System Memory (2 Dimm) +$250.00
16GB DDR3 System Memory (2 Dimm) +$500.00

might as well throw in the numbers on the processsss as the price varies alot
2nd generation Intel(R) Quad Core(TM) i7-2720QM (2.2 GHz, 6MB L3 Cache) w/Turbo Boost up to 3.3 GHz+$150.00

8GB is more than enough. The better CPU is not worth $200 over the other one.

Are Samsung and Dell still the go-to guys for LCD monitors? I'm looking for something in the 21"-24" range.. Have a 24" at work (HP LP2465) and I'm really loving the extra work area it gives compared to the non-widescreen 19" I have at home.
I have a Samsung and a Dell side by side at work. Go with the Samsung. The Dell just seems shoddy in comparison.
Aight, so which model ranges are worth getting?

UK people: Where should I go to find cheap mobile phone contract? I do not need a fancy-ass phone to go with it, nor do I need internets.

Pay monthly, preferably, and preferably a "pay for what you use" sort of plan. If you guys even have that. Ie, pay x pr. minute spoken and y pr. text sent. Not pay z pr. month and get bla bla bla.

For laptop GPU -- - :

Unless you are running higher than 1080p (like triple monitor or 2560x1600 30") any GPU can't utilize more than 1GB VRAM to cause any performance degradation, period. Take into account the comparatively anemic performance of a mid-range mobile GPU, 1GB is even overkill, and you can't really drive that resolution with that card anyhow, unless you want a slide show. http://forum.notebookreview.com/gaming- … 2gb-3.html
now it's all about steel gray or dark umber.

Going to find out how it goes with my 2.5GB GTX 570 coming in today once I throw in the unused 9800GT I have lying around...and play BATMAN.

2) 4:30ish PM - Finally get parts. Too tired to assemble. Also forgot to clear the three foot pile of crap off your workbench first.
