Jesus christ, avoid WD My Passport Essential SEs like the plague.

Not only did it stop recognising, but when I pulled the drive out of the enclosure to try and get the data off it, WD have made it as hard as possible by hard wiring the USB port and not allowing a SATA connection and then if you manage to get passed that they have a 256bit encryption on the SATA stream so there's no way I've found to get the data off it.

EDIT: Other than paying them to do it which I guess we probably will.

I got this standard dell wired mouse that i got with my xps 420. But this fucker has no middle mouse button. I can click it but it has no function. I downloaded dell Mouse suite and set the function for the middle button to middle button, which should work, but it still does nothing.

I have dealt with it for quite some time, but it is becoming fucking annoying.

e: My wireless mouse that I use on my laptop does have one which works on my desktop as well, but i hate using it for gaming.

One of my housemates was with some dudes on the weekend who have whole bunch of cheap, flood damaged stock (all works fine apparently). They were building rigs with it to see what 3DMark06 score they could get (one of the guys there has currently 100 of everything at the moment, he's being paid to clean up the parts and build systems from them for a new gaming cafe).

i7 9xx (can't remember) overclocked to 5.6GHz, three 580s in SLI and a bunch of SSD drives all hooked up to some crazy mobo, they got a score of 54,000

Not really. It performs worse than Firefox 3.6 in most tests.
