I have Opera, FF Beta 1, and Chrome installed, and the only time I've touched anything but Chrome was to post my question about why shit was fucked up after I had cleared the cache.Kmar wrote:
I've pretty much moved to chrome. It's just so much faster for me. It might have something to do with my ff addons. But really, the difference is noticeable. Especially on startup. I'll install some of my ff addons in to chrome just to make them even .

But yea, I've been using Chrome.... for a while now. Started running it so I could have two Gmail accts open at the same time, and slowly started using it more than FF
And nick, it's odd then you were getting that page...
I loved Chrome, but it's constant crashing really put me off. Seems I just got real unlucky with it. I try it again every few months, though, to see if it's fixed.nickb64 wrote:

That's just the magic wand tool on Opera.Kmar wrote:

Eh, what? Now that sounds a lot like user error.Finray wrote:

I have none of those installed, but you just proved I have 0 reasons to switch even if I some day will.Finray wrote:

adblock - a FF extension
speed dial - a FF extension
torrent client built - don't even know if there's an extension
mouse gestures - a FF extension
etc etc
take out the screws to the casing and take a peek at it before you toss it, you could luck out and just have the arm knocked to the side or summatJenspm wrote:
So I dropped my HDD the other day, and it broke.. It was a regular 3.5" in an enclosure..
Anyways, it doesn't work anymore. There are lots of clicking sounds and it's obviously broken (doesn't show up in device manager anymore either)..
It has all my movies and music, which would be a pain to lose - any way I can retrieve the files?
The annoying thing is that I've said to myself for the past 6 months that it's about time I buy a second drive and back it up.. Never happened..Uzique wrote:
clicks of death suck

rip media collections of the past - never forget
It launches wayyyy faster for me. I could launch 15 instances of chrome before one instance of ff. I notice a difference from page to page as well. Like I said, it might have to do with some if the extensions I have installed. Removing them or a fresh install may fix ..but chrome is suiting me perfect.liquidat0r wrote:
I must have really bad reaction times, or something. I've never noticed FF being slow, and I couldn't tell that Chrome was any faster - same goes for Opera.
I think the only thing that I might have slightly noticed was that Chrome launched quicker than FF ... but that's not really of any benefit to me as I start my browser probably less than once a week.
