You answered 70% of questions correctly. Here's your rating: 65-80%: Hey, you may make a good citizen yet! Look at your wrong answers and a little revision should do the trick.

60%, I got lots of dates and names wrong, but got a lot of educated guesses (ie. I knew the other three answers were probably wrong as opposed to knowing the answer.)

[edit]I tried the British one. and got 58%.....

http://www.ukcitizenshiptest.co.uk/

It's insanely hard and I have no idea why anyone would need to know most of the answers to be British.

This is perfect that way we know EXACTLY who is responsible when a person has no knoweldge that employers find marketable.

Yup don't be like me, having a job, becoming marketable, great credit, staying out of jail, and personally responsible for your actions is not the desired example one should follow. Become a liberal instead and don't worry about any of it, someone will take care of you.

I'm thinking that lots of kids weren't taking this crap too seriously. Plus it's history and civics, it really isn't very important to know who the First President is, you can be anything from engineer to CEO of a multinational without knowing the stuff that's on a citizenship test.

To apply this to the healthcare debate is crazy. If government education is so incompitent, then as a product of this incompitence shouldn't you disregard your own opinion Lowing?

Again, your "governments are utterly incompetent at every level" argument holds little water.
So in your mind a person who has no idea who the first president was, can probably do geometry? See, to me, if you do not care enough to learn who the first president was, even by fuckin accident, you ain't gunna give a shit about much of anything else.

and yes govt. is incompetent.
I had no idea who the first PM on Australia was until high school, and I really didn't care. I now know, but I still don't care, it's irrelevant information which doesn't effect me one little bit.

Ohh btw... I have a degree in economics.

yes it is useless info, yet if asked by a perpective employer and you didn't know something so rediculously obvious about your own country, ya think they would be impressed?

I see, so according to your logic if a kid fails a test then the govt shouldn't have armed forces since obviously they won't be able to organise or control them?
Not the same issue. The govt. is CHARGED with national defense, they are not charged with my healthcare.

I see so if they are CHARGED they will somehow be competent, if they are not CHARGED they will inevitably be incompetent because a kid failed a stupid test?

The Aus test is super easy 19/20.

Reckon an employer would be more concerned with my ability to spell simple words than do a multiple choice test on trivia which happened hundreds of years ago.
