A yes

Edit.:

A BIG NO from Denmark here

We had alot of issues with this because of the EU court (or wtf its called) they said our immigration laws are too strict, and we can not send people home. (IMO our immigration laws should be stricter)

But thank God our good goverment said screw EU, and went on.

I mean why the flying fk should some French guy sitting in Brussels, dictate us on what to do and not to do?

I think the numbers speaks for themself over 70% of our population wanted to send the Iraqis home.

The people who doesnt want them send home are just retarded IMO, Jesus christ one of them was a convictred pedophile, and they still want to keep him here.

The kid uses the word "we" as if he is speaking for Denmark as a whole, which is not true. A lot of people here are against the immigration  policy of the current government.

He should take my "GTFO" with a smile instead of writing that I am the one that should pack my stuff and go home in a karma... I am home

Well, that's because you're part of the cancer eating away at Europe right now. Of course YOU like being there. It's everyone else that wants you to go back to being a camel jockey.

I understand that you're a (recent?) immigrant to Denmark, but is that the only reason you're against the immigration policy of the current government. That's a weak reason. You need to look at the bigger picture.

You know, it's funny. I don't recall Europe or America having immigration problems until they implemented social welfare programs. Funny that.

Alright fair enough, so what's the reason then? Surely you can see that letting in lots of people in a time when the country really can't afford to makes sense?

Oh well those "alot of people" represents less than 30% of the population, the majority has spoken whether you like it or not.

Theres not one day were I dont hear about the problems with immigrants (and it is mainly immigrants from Arab countries) and not even that I see it with my own eyes everyday.

Was it 88% of the Iraqis living here in Denmark that was on social welfare, WTF 88%?

Something like 66% of palestinian immigrants either sits in prison here, or have been...

I guess we are just too nice, and yet you people still complain.

And as long you as you have that mentality this is not your home.

To keep this on topic why should some guy whos not danish sittting in Brussels, tell us we can not send these people home?

And yes I do know people thats integrated and works hard, but its hard to see them when the majority of these people fucks us over in one way or another.

Who said anything about the opposition, and if you wanna go down that road then the opposition represents around 40% of the voters.

And theres is plenty of people in both SF and the Social Democrats that agrees in tighter immigration laws.

Explain to me why a party like DF grows at every election? (not that I vote on them, except for the EU parlament)

Well it is funny that you dont see alot of these immigrants in east european countries (which have horrible social programs)

But in scandinavian countries we have alot (and some of the best social welfare programs)

Care to explain?

The latest polls says something else : http://www.dr.dk/Nyheder/Politik/Barometer.htm

Am a member of SF myself, and yes you are right. Some of them wish to keep it tight, but with modifications.

We DO work for multicultural community where Denmark can room anyone and everyone, no matter where they are from or what they believe in, as long as they contribute to the society.

I have a pretty arrogant pov of DF and their voters, so I will keep it out

You do not seem like a stupid person so I think you are aware that DR always have favoured the Social democrats, and their political agenda, so that this poll favours them is no surprise.

And yes I completely agree with you that we have room for people as long as they contribute to society, but the people I have reffered to are excactly the ones that DONT.

But anyways this is completely off topic now, if you care to discuss this further make a thread about it.

Multi-cultural community? How about you moved to Denmark, you now become Danish. You chose to move to the country, fit in. Don't make your own little enclaves. You wanna keep your religion? Fine. Drop all your old customs and other bs. Wear western clothes, speak western languages. Don't like it? Move back to whatever fly infested shithole you came from.

My grandparents emigrated to America from Sweden and Germany. They immediately learned English and tried their best to fit into American society. Hell, both of my grandfathers fought in the American army in WWII because they wanted to be AMERICAN that badly. This whole bending over backwards for the emigrating population needs to stop. You want the languages and customs changed? Go back to your home country and launch a military invasion. Good luck.

You claim you are Danish and yet you have Arabic script for your 'place'. Doing a good job.

You haven't addressed his key point though: Do you consider yourself Danish or Arabic? Or are you a hyphenated Dane?

The strength of America in the early to mid-20th century was the "melting pot" we read about but no longer see. People from other countries and other cultures that came here and wove themselves into the fabric of America. The social upheaval and fractionalization (not a real word, I know, but what the hell) we see today really coincides with the hyphenization of America and the elimination of the "melting pot" effect. It simply doesn't happen anymore...at least not on the scale it did back in the day. The ratio has probably reversed.

Sounds like Europe is seeing the same sorts of problems with their immigrant populations.

The strength of integration is getting lost.

I don't think they quite understand one can be both Danish and Arabic at the same time ...

@G@lt: You speak of enclaves as it is a colored phenomenon only, look at Italians, Irish, Norwegians etc etc immigrating to the US in the late 1800s and the early 1900s ... it's only natural to seek out fellow countrymen no matter where you originate from ... if given the chance most will try to contribute and blend in, race and color has nothing to do with it ... difference is most immigrants today are colored whereas they wasn't 100+ years ago ...
