Bought it last Thursday and have played it a tad this weekend, it's pure awsmness tbh ...

Started off with the Subaru and done the London and Croatia events you start off with, also got a Dodge heavy duty truck for some BAJA action in the States

Am coming along nicely after remapping the controls and have done the first X-game event

I have you on my friendslist Bennis so we can compare stats

My favourite car is the MG metro on all-star. Its so fucking mental to drive!

I absolutely bum love this game right now, there is no cooler feeling than nailing a perfect drift round corners.

Best events are definitely the rally based ones, rally cross or normal rally.

Never played the first one but Dirt2 kicks ass ...

Have mostly driven the free Subaru so far and that works pretty good, will be buying some more cars as I go ... unlocked the second X-games last night and will give that a go tonight ... am currently lvl 14

Yay ... lvl20 and rising

Finished X-games Europe and Asia last night and aced my first all star event ... unlocked the world tour events also, will be hitting the first of them tonight perhaps ...

Have bought and tried out some different cars but still I like the Subaru Group N and the Dodge Power Truck the most, also the Hummer H3 ain't too bad for truck racing ... am best friends with 3 superstars so far (Justice, Mirra and Foust)

I'm really impressed with this game, a must for rally game fans ...

Also I fucking hate the colin mccrae ford escort. Everytime I go round a corner drifting, I just end up doing donuts round the front wheels

You have impressive stats bennis, looked it over yesterday ... you have used and enormous amount of flashbacks so I guess you have done some cliff-diving with the Subaru WRC

Cheers, yeah I have bouts of refusing to let go of the accelerator and seeing if I can reach the end of the course without letting go of it. Its very fun

World Tour finished
Nailed the Colin McRae event
All throwdowns completed

Have reached level 40 and are closing in on 50% of the races, the old Escort is actually a very good car for rally, handles like a dream ... this is the most fun I've had with a rally game for a very long time, a very suitable vorspiel while we await GT5

Anyone play it on PS3? We should get some online races going.

Oh shit it's december already. I got this game for free with my 5870, hope it's as good as the first.

Also fuck flashbacks, they take all the excitement out of rallying. Being one tiny mistake away from wrapping your car around a tree was what made rallying fun in DiRT. Looks like I'll be playing on nightmare difficulty again like with Grid

You don't have to use flashbacks ... it is cool though to kinda revisit some of the more spectacular crashes using flashback

Holy shit, this game is sickeningly gorgeous. I can't wait to get my 5770 so I can actually unleash the other 50% of its potential graphic ability. Running DX9 at the mo, so most is maxed at medium/high.
