So who's gettin this game? I've pre ordered the game and played the demo. Very impressed with the graphics and the game play is especially fun. Love drifting round the corners and stuff! So who's gettin it?
DiRT 1 was entertaining, but online was shit. I'll probably download DiRT 2.
Gonna buy DiRT 2 for PS3, I enjoyed the demo and a friend of mine is going to get so we'll probably do a bunch of jam sessions online together. Ripping around in a Subaru with friends sounds like a lot of fun IMO.
Going to pick it up tomorrow after work and then it's weekend for me.

I have DIRT 1 and it's pretty cool... The rally shit is boring but when you race against other cars it's fun... I am planning on getting DIRT 2 the next time i am at the store...

I got Dirt 2 for PS3 on friday after work, and i have been on it non stop and its absolutely brilliant.

Finally picked it up, it's got a very flashy menu system where everything is seen in first-person, however you can't freely roam around your trailer/space or the event you're at, you just select different menus and the camera moves/shakes as if you're walking. The driving portion of the game is a blast, a lot of different events and vehicles to choose from. However, it doesn't have many tuning/upgrade options for personalizing your car, with preset skins (liveries), dashboard & windshield toys as good as it gets. The online components are disappointing IMO, I wanted the jam sessions to be more of a free roam with different jumps obstacles versus an unranked race around a selected track. Hopefully they'll release some DLC to include more tracks with jumps, but I doubt it.
Overall, it's a nicely polished game that's a blast to play. Watch the GT Review for a peak of how it looks.
