It's because the film had to be encoded using the resolution of IMAX since some scenes were filmed in it. Usually when encoding you crop out the black bars at the top and bottom but they had to be left in for the IMAX scenes. This is also why the movie was so big, they had to encode for the extra resolution of IMAX throughout the movie.Lynx wrote:

I try to see all the big movies in IMAX, usually the official IMAX preview thing is the coolest part though. They show off the sound system and it has a laser show

So I decide to play around with the TV missile while waiting and as I guided my missile, I HIT A FUCKING TANK CAPPING VISTA POINT.

Thats nothing... once the AA gun in Wakes middle island bugged when I shot a chinese tank on the main island and the tank blew up lol.

i was piloting a j-10 on dragon and all of a suden just blew up. turns out some guy shot a random tank shell from god knows where and blew me out of the sky. He was laughing his tits off.
