Exactly. And the sports teams can help spread the word of the school in general. And sports in general are a good thing for schools and students. Take OSU (Ohio State) The entire sports program pays for it self (and If I remember some extra revenue as well) from Football and Basketball, no taxpayer dollars for any of there sports programs. Rich parents spoil their kid too much and really poor parents just don't give a fuck. All boils down to parenting. My good friend is filfthy rich (Dad was head of a hospital and dean of medicine at the 2nd largest medical uni in Taiwan...) He's an alright kid, but has no concept of money. Got expelled twice from school, now going to some shitty community college in Riverside, CA. My friend's who are spoilt are complete dicks and pretty prejudiced.
