second one is a bit small for an assault rifle. more like a carbine or a sub-machine gun

Both of them work well but I'd say "Assault Rifle[2]" would be more suited to a carbine or even sub machinegun catagory. The barrel is simply too short for it to be considered an Assault Rifle.

I'd say this was a bit of a landslide victory for the CN21. It helps to know what catagory a gun fits into. AR2 should really have been in the SMG catagory.
