Oh crap. There goes a nice shirt. The pretty Carlsberg logo is going to be replaced by this ugly thing...
Apparently Adebayor is getting a six match ban, hahahaha.
Can't see that happening, maybe if he punched someone in the face. But not for what he did. You'd be lucky if he gets banned at all tbh
He deserves a two year ban and a 90% reduction in his wages, the wanker is just asking for trouble
Oh yeah you're right, he should get a 6 match ban for punching someone in their face, but not for stepping on someones face with football boots on. Good thinking Mek!Mekstizzle wrote:

Eduardo Ban overturned. Good, they turned that into such a big fiasco.
Didn't seem that deliberate, not enough to warrant a 6 match ban. 6 match bans are for serious shit, not accidents or near-accidents. And the likelyhood of a ban is even less now that Eduardo's was overturned, although that was for diving, but bans are bans
The BBC say 6 match, 3 for the stamp and 3 for the celebration. I can understand maybe 1/2 or 3 games for the stamp. But the celebration would really be going overthe top, especially for 3 matches. At the end of the day the Arsenal fans are still responsible for themselves and even if he did what he did it's still not much anyway. To suspend someone for 3 matches for a celebration would just cause bigger rifts than ever amongst the footballing world

might want to watch the video again
2 for the celebrations seems reasonable
2 for the celebrations seems reasonable
Well he's been banned for three games for the stamp. Maybe reasonable. The celebration is nothing. It's just a celebration. He already got his yellow card for it. That's the standard punishment for a silly celebration. Anything other than a fine (because it was abit more than usual) would be way over the top for a celebration.
Obviously the Arsenal fans want more than that because they're pissed off at how he humiliated them, but that's nothing in the wider context.

This bit is stupid though, how the BBC try to make it as if it was Ade's fault that this happened:
He'll probably just get a small fine for that.

Manchester City's Emmanuel Adebayor has been suspended for three matches for violent conduct following his side's win against Arsenal on 12 September.
---Adebayor also faces an improper conduct charge for his goal celebration in front of the Arsenal supporters.
A separate date will be arranged for a commission to consider that charge, with City have until 30 September to respond.
This bit is stupid though, how the BBC try to make it as if it was Ade's fault that this happened:
Erm, shouldn't the punter who threw the object be punished instead? Nobody asked him to get all angry and start throwing shit like an ape! Provokations or not, football fans need to be held for their own actions at the end of the day. After the match it emerged that a steward needed hospital treatment after being hit by a flying object following Adebayor's celebrations.
He'll probably just get a small fine for that.
Two goals for Vermaelen. /win
This is a bad round for me.
Atleast for IKTS.

Also lol Portsmouth, come on, 6 games without even a single point. They're going down tbh.

Tottenham had a bad start last season, maybe 'Arry will go back to them and rescue them, since he has a habit of that...
that article linked to this vid of Quaresma... I'm still amazed that we chose to play Kalou instead of him when we had him on loanMekstizzle wrote:
