Hello and welcome to the official thread of the 2009/2010 season of the Barclays Premier League. Last season, the discussion of games and rumours went on in the Fantasy/IKTS thread, as well as the official discussion thread - which is why I've decided to combine the two threads into one big thread of awesome.

So, discuss rumours, games, teams, players, coaches, etc, as well as IKTS and Fantasy, here.

To join the fantasy and/or IKTS leagues, go to the respective web-sites (Fantasy - IKTS), login/register and insert the following codes in the "Join League" sections:

BF2s.com Fantasy "Classic": Season 2 - 280666-157676
- In a classic league your overall score is ranked against all other players in the league.

BF2s.com Fantasy "Head to Head": Season 1 - 280666-157859
- In a head to head league you play a game each gameweek against another team in the league. Your score versus your opponent's score. 3 points for a win and 1 points for a draw.

NOTE: You enter with the same team in Classic and Head to Head if you decide to join both tournaments, so you don't have to do twice as much work

Now for some IRL PL stuff: How have your teams been doing this pre-season? As you all know, Carlo Ancelotti is our new coach, and the most drastic change he's done so far is convert from our beloved 4-3-3 to a 4-4-2 with a diamond in the middle. Interesting as to how this'll work, it'll definately give our right and left backs a lot more space (Bosingwa and A.Cole even more attacking? yum.)

Sturridge has been really good for us in pre-season so far, and he'll definately get a lot of playing time this year, behind Drogba and Anelka.

The games:

Chelsea - Seattle Sounders: 2-0
Chelsea - Inter Milan: 2-0
Chelsea - AC Milan: 2-1
Chelsea - Club America: 2-0
Chelsea - Reading: 2-2

Now, Community Shield in one week - Manure should be prepared for rape.

Sorry I won't be joining IKTS, for a couple of reasons too much hassle and I don't want to put a mockers on the Stoke results (stupid I know but it'll feel like I'm doing it) so I'm just gonna stick to the fantasy league if that's ok.
