That's what the crosshair looks like through spec

FOV is from the WideScreen fixer, a legal program.

FOV, Field of View.

Normally when you use the widescreen hotfix (+szx 1680 +szy1050, also legal) the image is just cropped so your Field of View is the same as it would have been with a 4:3 aspect ratio. However the WideScreen fixer is a legal program that fixes the FOV so that you can view it in an 8:5 ratio.

Oh, Sam's just got a mouse with adjustable DPI. He is so skilled that he can flick the mouse onto an enemy and then the second he's on him he turns the DPI back down.

In some shots it looks like he's snap firing to far through the fog also, this is because you can't tell in the video, but he's the commander and has the UAV there. Since he knows the maps inside out he is able to tell how high up they would need to be in order to be at that location.
