I was looking at that case. But the HDD mountings were pretty poor, the fans are actually not that quiet and overall I don't really like the looks of it.some_random_panda wrote:
If you spend around 50 dollars more you can get the Coolermaster ATCS 840. Not tooless like the Lian Li, but damned nice features all the same. Those 230mm fans would really do nicely in keeping the noise down.

But personally I prefer cases that don't look like a tribute to nerddom (hence why I have a P182)
I'd consider going back to ATX for my i7 build to use that case, but it's red.GC_PaNzerFIN wrote:

Do you have to get one with that disgusting side panel?GC_PaNzerFIN wrote:

Lian Li case specialist said there will not be one without the AMD logo. Lian Li is working with AMD together, hence these best top model cases often will have AMD logos and dragon paintjob.ghettoperson wrote:

It is pretty much discontinued. Fortress FT01 replaced it a while back. The problem is not finding one, its the ridiculous price you need to pay to get the ultimate watercooling case, which TJ07 is. I have been looking at cheaper TJ09 for possible modding, but that will get shit expensive too.ghettoperson wrote:
Get the case James got, that thing looks shit hot.

Sidepanel window, black/anodized interior, room for 285mm graphics cards, good cable management, decent HDD montings (not screwed to case directly), >4 12cm fan slots and dust filters.Nic wrote:
really... it sucked? damn. looks like its got alot of good features, and could have good WC potential if you were to remove the hard drive bays and mount one vertically near the back wall. I'm gonna have to look some up later.
What are some of you must haves for a new case?

It is modular. I really don't care where the PSU is, preferrably on bottom as that seems to be the choice of today.Nic wrote:
Any wants for where the PSU is mounted? Is that 850 you have modular?

Probably not.Nic wrote:
Well fuck... this is a bit hard. The good ol obsidian you want fits everything. A cosmos 1000 with modding could work, but seems you want something more boxy.
A ABS Black Pearl with modding could also work. I would suggest mounting one of these on the roof to get your fans in:

Panzerbox! it was made for you: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a … 6811146056
jk....
would a mid tower work for you?

As an owner of a Lian-Li G70b with a window, the Corsair looks fucking hot. It does have the hot-swappable hard drives which I guess is nice (who really uses that? ) but the cable management looks _amazing_.Zimmer wrote:
Can I ask, what's so special about this Corsair case? I would have thought a Lian Li would be much better... It looks quite basic.
I cant blame ya, I would like one myself. Wouldnt mind seeing irl up close and personal, before spending that much on it though.GC_PaNzerFIN wrote:

Yes they are fixing few quality related factors with screws, especially the sidepanel window screws.Nic wrote:
One of these would take alot of work, but has all the fans you will ever need.

Lot of work.
What evs though, your better off waiting on the Obsidian. Maybe with it being pushed back, it means some improvement or new features..
