need a case and question about Vista

i'm getting this rig:

just wanted to know if there are any other cases that are like that one i could substitute it with (that one is out of stock) and I'm getting Vista but 32 or 64 bit? I've read that I may as well just install 32 bit as it is more supported, but i don't really know much about it. please and thanks <3

32 does not support moar than 4gigs of ram. i have no problems with 64bit

Any ATX case should work...

Also, 64bit > 32bit

Edit: Any mid-full size ATX tower should work Don't go small form factor is all...just to clarify for the smartasses

dont get vista, for the love of god please.. that OS chugs like molasses especially when i have quickbooks and some other stuff running at the same time at work. vista is not optimized correctly. like ghettoperson said, save your money for windows 7 at least. vista does more than XP, but vista doesnt run as efficiently.

That's probably because your work computer sucks. Vista does not run well on older/cheaper computers, I'll give you that. But the computer that the OP is building will run Vista flawlessly, and Vista is better than XP hands down.

If your computer has i7 + 6GB RAM in tri-channel + GTX 275 (like the OP), I guarantee that Vista will no be sluggish. In fact, it can not be sluggish on much cheaper hardware than that.

I was looking to get the P182 also... I'm pissed that's it's been deactivated on newegg.

I haven't had any problems with Vista, and I'm running the 64-bit version. So far I've found support for everything I need. It was just XP 64-bit that was a bad apple.

I'd say if you want a bigger case with lots of cooling capabilities, that is also very well built, then take a look at this beast. I love mine. All high quality aluminum construction and no sharp edges that eat your knuckles.

Can you say room for 7 x 120mm case fans. Oh, and it does have the removable motherboard tray, which makes it all the sweeter.
