Well, as i was going to bed last night i caught the show "Nostradamus: 2012"

As of before this show, i was not a believer, because i had seen a video clip of a researcher who talked to myan leaders and the myan leaders said the 'end of the world' was a mis-statement.

However.
After watching the show last night on History channel... Im just a tad bit nervous.

Basically, everyone says something huge is going to happen.

from the Hopi indians to the calenders of a couple major ancient civilizations, to nostradamus, and a lot more.

It's almost like the big elephant in the room, that most people haven't actually sat and realized 'holy shit theres an elephant in the room'

What i also wonder, with a population of 300 million +... what does the "government" expect to do if a major cataclysm is to happen. Martial law? You KNOW this gov cant keep there god damn paws out of anything.

Start stocking up on food.

but seriously I've heard a lot of shit about the world coming to an end. Personally I reckon its easy to believe this kind of shit especially with the current state of affairs but its still SHIT. A lot of theories have been disproved and the world was suppose to have ended many times before but we're still here.

I agree with Mafia tbh, Nostra thing-jig has been dis-proven so many times that it is just now a personal belief? I mean the world ends everyday and then re-starts when the sun rises! An Eqyptian belief? So if you whole heartedly believe that the world will end in 2012 then I am sure that you'll do everything possible to make sure it does.

I understand, there have been MANY end of the world stories. However this coincidides with so so many things. Alignment to the center of the galaxy. Volcanos in the red zone. Ancient philosophers and astrologists and astronomers, who were smart as FUCK. Just saying. The ancient people were really fucking smart.

I feel that 2012 will have a infinitly bigger hype whether anything happens or not. What do you forsee people doing? Rioting, looting, ?

I think that there will be a lot of people freaking out, suicides, riots and lootings.

As it is the mother of all doomsday scenarios I hope that people stfu when it comes and goes.

But, the world is moving towards chaos and anarchy and nuclear war.

And also, Edgar Casey was documented to be right many times in his predictions and he says the Great Lakes will drain suddenly into the gulf of Mexico about then.

Scientist predict a solar maximum around then and a strong sun storm could cook our breathable air away. Also, current theories say that occasionally the Earth expels great amounts of water that are subducted by the oceanic plates. They say there is seven times the amount of water inside the crust as there is outside and that such a event would explain limestone formations and the Biblical flood.

I hope nothing happens.

But really though ATG, a lot of people say, since on that specific date the sun aligns with the exact center of the galaxy, it may have some type of unexplained gravitational pull on our planet. Or there could be a pull on the Sun cause it to storm.

Theres so many outcomes.

Ancient people thought the world will end in 2012? Well, they also thought that the earth was flat and it was the center of the universe, so I'm somewhat skeptical of this whole end-of-the-world business.
