I got caught with weed last night

Last night me and my friend were coming back from this kids house, and we pull back up to his house, and he starts rolling a joint, he finishes rolling the joint and were about to get out and a cop shows up out of no were and starts to talk to us. My dumb ass friend leaves the joint and the rest of the weed sitting on the seat of my truck in plain view and the cop sees it. It wasn't even my weed but since i knew about it being in my truck i get a charge too. The charge is just possession of less than half a ounce of marijuana, but the cop said he could of taken us to jail if he wanted to. I have to go to court in a month. Any ideas of what will happen, or what kind of punishment we will get? Seriously the only reason the cop stopped is because the city we were in has a curfew were you can't be out of your house after 12 o clock at night if your not 18.

They cop was a hot female. I flirted a little with her and as she was walking away with my sack in her hands I said;

" Excuse me, officer? May I have my sack back? "

and she actually turned and held it out, as if to give it to me, then yoinked it away. We both laughed.
