There don't seem to be any jobs that are directly related (e.g. dealing with animals, except for Security Forces) but there are some like pharmacology specialists. What jobs tie in best to veterinary medicine?

@Flecco I am considering Army as well, but idk, the USAF just appeals a lot to me for some reason.
As for why a vet, I love animals and part of me wants to do something medicine related. Plus, I sort of have a cause. My dog died likely because of shitty veterinary practices many months ago... and if me being a vet can prevent another creature from being taken away before its time, then I'd be a happy man.

lol i have an niece that went in the Army for Vet Medicine. She was in Iraq in no time.

Go to the mall and talk to a recruiter, he would know what branch to choose for working with animals ...
